One could say I have now earned the dubious distinction of becoming a ‘Woman of a Certain Age’. By this time in life, a long drawn out bio is available, but I might lose you somewhere between birth and now, so let it suffice to say I am a serial entrepreneur whose natural inquisitiveness has only grown with experience.
Grateful for some life and career highlights which include:
Two grown and amazing kids - I'm a little prejudiced.
Have lived in FL, AL, NYC, CO, and now Asheville, NC
Been an actor and a real estate broker in all those states
Owned a Cable TV brokerage business for 10 years
Also lived in France for 10 years, brought up the kids there, co-owned antique, restoration, and shipping business
Published Bit by the Fleas, a Guidebook on the Paris Flea Market (Pamela and Stuart Hough)
Owned Pyms Capital Resources (sold Senior Living Portfolios- assisted living, nursing homes,and arranged introductions to debt and equity sources for another decade)
Writer for articles and either host or produce podcasts for Asheville publications, The Laurel of Asheville and Capital at Play

Wayne Holmes is an accomplished, award-winning sound engineer and composer with experience in all facets of live and recorded music, including podcasts.
With meticulous and magical attention to the balance of voice, music, and sound effects… Wayne transforms straightforward podcast narration and interviews into rich, beautifully paced productions. As the founder and owner of JC Music Publishing, Wayne has 31 years of experience in music publishing, song writing, recording engineering, live sound engineering, keyboards, and vocals. He’s worked with major music industry artists and top producers such as David Foster and George Duke. He's written songs for Najee "I didn't Know" (#2 Billboard Jazz Album), Everette Harp "We Will Answer", and the Dionne Warwick single “I Promise You Love".
His scores include (with Elliott Soloman) the soundtrack for the film "Hollywood Cop,” the theme song for “Stabilizer”, and he has scored numerous industrial videos for Hoag Hospital, The Orange Coast School system, etc. Wayne has contributed background vocals on Dianne Reeves' "Live in the Moment" (Grammy Winner), Kenny Loggins (various), Dionne Warwick, George Duke (various), Pattie LaBelle, and Celine Dion.
He’s been the production manager for the promotional media tours of several artists including: Leona Lewis, Jamie Foxx, and Katharine McPhee… as well as Rickey Minor for Stevie Wonder's PBS performance at the White House (Feb 09), and Stevie Wonder's Classical performance at the Gershwin Awards for the Library of Congress. Other tour clients include Kenny Loggins, Whitney Houston, George Duke, Toni Tony Tone, Roberta Flack, Joe Sample, Al Jarreau, Najee, David Sanborn, Anita Baker, Rachelle Ferrell, to name a few. Wayne recently functioned as production and stage manager for the “Footloose Teens” production in Santa Barbara Ca (Emmy winner)
